举个例子，耶鲁某人给蒋的回信（其他的大多如此）：
Roger Howe, Dept. of Math., Yale University, wrote to Jiang:
“Dear Mr. Jiang, I have looked at the two notes you sent me recently, on “Factorization Theorem for Fermat’s Equation” and “Fermat’s Proff for Fermat’s Last Theorem”.
I find them very difficult to read. Notation is used without definition, and statements are made which have no evident justification.
If you wish to publish a proof of Fermat’s Last Theorem, you make sure your arguments are very clear. Consequently, I am returning your papers to you.”
