世界摄影节议程安排与摄影爱好者招募 10月15日-10月16日
The World Photography Festival, Shanghai will run from the 14 – 16 October, featuring talks and presentations for both the emerging photographer and those with advancing photographic skills.With an emphasis on ‘learn, master and market’, highlights of the programme will be a special portfolio workshop, a multi-media seminar and discussions with veteran photographers.In 2010, the Festivals will be held in San Francisco, London, Sao Paulo and Shanghai.
To celebrate the first World Photography Festival held in China, and share the passion with photographic enthusiasts, we’ll recruit 50 photographers and photographic enthusiasts to grant the entrance tickets of the whole programme which quite expensive usually.
首次年度世界摄影盛会与世界摄影奖展览将在上海著名的外滩十八号18画廊隆重揭幕。展览定于2010年9月28日开始，展品包括“2010年Sony世界摄影奖”的获奖作品；学生专项作品；联合国儿童基金会“儿童权利”项目的获奖照片；还包括一个照片墙，张贴着近几年获得提名或获得奖项的中国摄影家的作品。今年，世界摄影节将会在4个国家举办，分别是美国旧金山，巴西圣保罗，英国伦敦以及中国上海。
10月15---16日，世界摄影节将会在外滩十八号3F的“十八空间”举办一系列的精彩活动，其中包括摄影专家和业内名人的讲座；影集研讨会；影集述评；以及现场拍摄体验活动。这些活动丰富多彩，让摄影爱好者们在对展览作品大饱眼福的同时，更有机会与专家进行一对一的交谈，获得来自专业人士的宝贵经验和精心指导。
为庆祝世界摄影协会第一次来到中国，与中国的摄影爱好者们分享对摄影的热情，我们特招募五十位摄影家和摄影爱好者，赠予价值三百欧元的这一系列的活动入场券。

Anybody who is interested in the programme, please do not hesitate to contact us and make appointment to get the WPF Pass. Through emails or calling, it’s required to indicate your name, gender, contact phone number, email, the programme you intend to join in, whether you’ll take your works on site and how many works you’ll bring. We’ll examine and verify your qualification and send WPF Pass on your hand.

Much like the Portfolio Review, this is a one-to-one opportunity for photographers to be mentored and guided by an expert in the industry. This workshop is intended for those photographers who may not yet have a portfolio put together or wish to re-build their portfolio to ensure it is effective in portraying the photographers best talents. In this workshop, the photographer will work with just one expert for 2 – 3 hours whilst he/she guides the photographer on how to construct their portfolio. Each expert will work with up to 4 photographers, also allowing the critique and advice to be communicated amongst the fellow photographers. Each photographer should bring a minimum of 15 photographs and a maximum of 30 for the expert to sort through and asses the best way to lay out the portfolio. It is recommended that the photographer also have a wider selection ready to show if the expert wants to see it. The photographs can be shown as physical prints or digitally (though it is requested that the photographs be organised and ready to show on digital format and the photographer is required to bring their own computer to show the digital work on).

- Each expert will work with 4 photographers. The expert will review each photographer's images and give advise on how to get the best edit from your portfolio.
- Each participant must bring to the workshop a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 35 images that they wish to include in their portfolio.
- We suggest you bring images from at least 2 bodies of work.
- It is advised that photographers bring recent work.
- If the photographs are digital, participants must bring their own laptop to show the work on. We request that the work be organised to show the expert.
- 每位专家将指导4名摄影师。专家将评议每位摄影师的照片，并建议摄影师如何对摄影作品集进行最佳编辑。
- 每位活动参加者必须带上至少10张、最多35张希望放入其摄影作品集的照片。
- 我们建议您带上至少2组作品中的照片
