A Journey to Wugong Mountain
Last year, I spent all the holidays at home—I was so struggling with my new job and I've no energy to travel. I missed the spring of Su Causeway of West Lake, the cherry blossom of Yuantouzhu Park, the lotus flower of Quyuanfenghe in West Lake, the autumn of Xinjiang and the winter of Thailand. I love traveling, the views often made me forget the worries in my life, the people I met always inspired me and cheered me up. My eyes were opened and my mind was refreshed during the journey. I wish I could travel around the world. I especially like to travel abroad, to experience new cultures and pick up new languages, taste the food of new flavors and learn the values that are different from China's. I don't know why people from both the developed western countries and the developing Latin American countries are happier than Chinese. I think the reason may be the differences in cultures. This year I'm still struggling with my life and my sleep. I feel more anxious, gloomy and worried than before that I can't carry out my plans. The lack of sleep makes my health condition worse. Sometimes I lay on bed wide awake at 3 a.m., wondering how I can survive a life like this. Today is the secend day of May Day holiday, thanks to my efforts after another sleepless night, I managed to set out on my journey to Wugong Mountain, a place famous for alpine meadow, located in Pingxiang City, Jiangxi Province. We spent 12 hours on bus today, which truly made me feel exhausted. I wish I could sleep well tonight and have a nice trip tomorrow.
