Happy National Holiday to everyone
I haven't made any travel plans yet. So, my holiday theme is relaxation : reading,writing ,doing some sports and eating around .The most important thing is to try to do something out of the ordinary .
For instance ,this morning , I opened my WeChat channels and recorded myself reciting from the New Concept English for the first time. Unconsciously , I've recited 46 articles from NCE 2 in six months .After trying several methods , I believe I've found my own pace .
Firstly ,almost every morning ,I allocate 10 to 30mins to recite the articles before I drive Dora to school.Then ,I replay the recordings on my way to the office , this improves my listening skills and strengthens my memory of the recited contents . As soon as I arrive at the company, I write from memory.
Secondly, during breaks in my daily work , I usually read 1-2 articles from The Economists or The Times . This is beneficial for expanding my vocabulary and enhancing my reading skills .
Occasionally ,before bedtime , I'll converse with my wife and my daughter in English .
Next , just like this essay , I need more output in both spoken and written English .
A quote that impressed me says ,"To learn a language ,you should integrate it into your life."
