译诗一首
Evening Star 《金星太白》

'Twas noontide of summer, 夏日过半,
And mid-time of night; 夜亦过半;
And stars, in their orbits, 群星各安其位,
Shone pale, thro' the light 闪烁微光,来自一片清辉
Of the brighter, cold moon, 那是皎洁的冷月,
'Mid planets her slaves, 统御众星,
Herself in the Heavens, 傲居苍穹,
Her beam on the waves. 光辉在云海上翻腾。
I gaz'd awhile 我良久凝望
On her cold smile; 看月儿笑意苍凉;
Too cold—too cold for me— 寒气袭人——于我太悲凄——
There pass'd, as a shroud, 无情流过,仿佛下葬的装裹,
A fleecy cloud, 亦如没了魂儿的云朵,
And I turn'd away to thee, 于是我把目光转向你,
Proud Evening Star, 至高的金星,
In thy glory afar, 远方的明灯,
And dearer thy beam shall be; 你的照耀才更可珍惜。
For joy to my heart 我心中只想要
Is the proud part 那份骄傲
Thou bearest in Heav'n at night, 挚爱的你在夜晚高天展现,
And more I admire 我心中所欲
Thy distant fire, 是前路的火炬,
Than that colder, lowly light. 而非眼前那没有温度,鄙俗的可见。
