用新的视角看待你的恐惧

这是我看巴夏视频的时候摘录的一段他对恐惧的解读，这个解读让我能够重新看待我的恐惧，它是我的朋友，而不是我内心脆弱、无助的表现。因为解读的非常好，我把中英文原文都打出来了，又能练习英文又能理解他的本意。

FEAR

All fears, all fears, are a reaction to something you believe to be ture .

所有的恐惧，所有的恐惧， 都是你相信某物为真而产生的一个反应。

You don't have a feeling about anything if you don't have a definition or a belief about that thing or that circumstance or that situation . So all fears no matter how it exhibits .

如果不是你先对某个事物、某个情境、某种情况预设了一个定义或者信念，你根本不会对它们有任何情绪或感受。

First of all, understand it is a reaction to a definition you have bought into.

所以首先要明白，它（恐惧）是你对你自己认同的某个定义产生的反应。

That is the impression that you bought into . It was a belief system or a definition that allows you to experience your reality in this particular emotional way .

所以问题在于你认定的那个定义是什么。正是有这样一个信念系统或者定义，才会让你以这种特定的情绪方式去体验你的现实。

That's what fear is for .

这就是恐惧的意义。

It is there to tell you, you have a belief that is out of alignment with who and what you truly are .

它的出现是在告诉你，你有一个信念跟你真正的身份不相符合。

We have often use the analogy of a piano, the instrument on your planet to demonstrate this idea .

我们经常用钢琴——你们星球上的乐器，来比喻这个说法。

If you're sitting down at a piano and you are playing a song and all that sudden you hit a sour Key, you do not usually run away from the piano screaming in terror and swearing you will never play again .

如果你正坐在钢琴边弹奏一首歌，突然你弹出了一个走音，这时你一般不会一边害怕地大叫跑开，一边发誓这辈子再也不碰钢琴了。

Usually you say, ah, this is out of tune, i must tune that particular key .

通常你会说，啊，这个音不准了，我必须要调一下这个音了。

And this is what fear is .It's like a sour key . A flat key . An out of tune key . It must be tuned .

这就是恐惧的含义。它就像一个走音、跑调、走调的音。必须要校准。

What must be tuned ?

所以需要校准的是什么呢？

The definition must be tuned .

是你认同的那个定义需要被校准了。

You must find out what the definition is that allowing you to experience the flat key . Change the definition which is the process by tuning and then bring it back into harmony whit the rest of the keys .

你必须找出那个定义是什么，让你体验了那个跑调的音。改变定义就是校准的过程。然后再让它和其他的键恢复和谐。

That's really all it is .

这就是整个过程。

And the specific type of fear can be as we have said, a big clue, as to what the definition is you may have bought into .

特定类型的恐惧，就像我们说过的，它是找出你认定的那个定义的巨大线索。

So use your fear to serve you .

所以，要利用你的恐惧来服务于你。

And more you understand that's what fear can be used to do, the more exited and curious you'll become about fear when you experience it .

当你对恐惧的作用理解得越多，你就会在体验恐惧时对它越来越兴奋和好奇。

And the more quickly you will transform the fear into curiosity, imagination and inspiration .

并且，你能把恐惧转化为好奇、想象和激励的速度也就会越来越快了。
