Sam Altman
1.Compound yourself(复利)
“It's important to move towards a career that has a compounding effect——most careers progress fairy linearly.” “There are many ways to get this leverage, such as capital, technology, brand, network effects, and managing people.”[关于能达到复利的职业,资本、科技、品牌、网络效应、管理。] “In a world where almost no one takes a truly long-term view, the market richly rewards those who do.” "Trust the exponential,be patient, and be pleasantly surprised."[相信复利的指数级增长力量,世界会给予这么做的人以丰厚回报]
2.Have almost too much self-belief(偏执)
①“Self-belief is immensely powerful. The most successful people I know believe in themselves almost to the point of delusion”[最为成功的人总是自信,自我信念甚至强大到妄自尊大的地步]
②“As you get more data points that your judgment is good and u can consistently deliver results, trust yourself more” “Managing ur own morale——and ur team's morale”[一旦你有足够的信息来证明你的判断是好的,那就相信你自己]
③“Self-belief must be balanced with self-awareness.”[信念要与自我认识平衡,认识自己的局限性与优势点]
3.Learn to think independently(学会独立思考)
“Entrepreneurship is very difficult to teach because original thinking is very difficult to teach.” "Grit comes from learning u can get back up after u get knocked down."[创业难教是因为原创的独立思考难教,基于复利思维的创意点要在现实社会中不断、快速实践,失败要有勇气爬起来]
4.Get good at "sales"(营销思维)
“ Self-belief alone is not sufficient—you also have to be able to convince other people of what you believe. ” “Getting good at communication—particularly written communication—is an investment worth making. My best advice for communicating clearly is to first make sure your thinking is clear and then use plain, concise language. ”[沟通能力,书面写作能力,把自己的想法“卖”出去]
5. Make it easy to take risks
“ It’s often easier to take risks early in your career; you don’t have much to lose, and you potentially have a lot to gain.” [
6. Focus (专注)
“ Most people waste most of their time on stuff that doesn’t matter. ” “ Once you have figured out what to do, be unstoppable about getting your small handful of priorities accomplished quickly. ”[持续不断专注要做的事,哪怕微小。不要浪费时间在无关的事情上]
7. Work hard (勤奋)
“ Extreme people get extreme results. ” “ As in most cases, momentum compounds, and success begets success. ” “ You have to figure out how to work hard without burning out. ” “ Hard work compounds like interest, and the earlier you do it, the more time you have for the benefits to pay off. ”[吃得苦中苦,方为人上人。成功带来成功。科学地勤奋,有效勤奋具有复利效用]
8. Be bold (勇敢)
“ If everyone else is starting meme companies, and you want to start a gene-editing company, then do that and don’t second guess it. ” [敢为天下先]
9. Be willful (倔强)
“ To be willful, you have to be optimistic—hopefully this is a personality trait that can be improved with practice. I have never met a very successful pessimistic person. ” “ People have an enormous capacity to make things happen. A combination of self-doubt, giving up too early, and not pushing hard enough prevents most people from ever reaching anywhere near their potential. ”[积极乐观,克服人性懒惰、怀疑、固守的弱点]
10. Be hard to compete with (建立竞争壁垒)
“ Most people do whatever most people they hang out with do. This mimetic behavior is usually a mistake—if you’re doing the same thing everyone else is doing, you will not be hard to compete with. ”
“ The best way to become difficult to compete with is to build up leverage. For example, you can do it with personal relationships, by building a strong personal brand, or by getting good at the intersection of multiple different fields. There are many other strategies, but you have to figure out some way to do it. ”[人际网络、个人品牌、多领域综合 etc,建立自己的优势]
11. Build a network (建立关系网)
“Great work requires teams. ”[团队]
12. You get rich by owning things
“ You get truly rich by owning things that increase rapidly in value. This can be a piece of a business, real estate, natural resource, intellectual property, or other similar things. "
13. Be internally driven(内驱)
“ Eventually, you will define your success by performing excellent work in areas that are important to you. The sooner you can start off in that direction, the further you will be able to go. It is hard to be wildly successful at anything you aren’t obsessed with. ”[做自己思考后觉得重要的事,而不是被外界迫使]
