关于活动：
农历九月初九是中国传统节日重阳节。传说中，东汉人桓景听从仙师的指导在这一天插上茱萸，带上菊花酒，领着乡亲们登上山顶，躲过了一场灾难。于是后人延续了这一传统，每年的重阳节，人们通常会登高赏菊，插茱萸，饮菊花酒等活动来庆祝佳节。
本周末，余徳耀美术馆将带来重阳节特别活动，通过绘本阅读的形式带你了解重阳节的历史。绘本中，主人公小米和她的好朋友在重阳节去登高，不料小米的云符响了起来。原来是一只仙鹤受伤落在了她家的阳台。为了拯救仙鹤，小米带着宝葫芦穿越回古代寻找菊花泉……

活动流程：

【yuzkids】Are You Ready?—Bring A Magic Gourd to Travel Between Ancient and Modern

About activity:
The Double Ninth Festival is a traditional Chinese festival falling on the ninth day of ninth lunar month. In one legend, Huan Jing from the Eastern Han Dynasty escaped a disaster by wearing cornel, taking chrysanthemum wine and leading the folks to the top of a mountain, which is the guidance of a divine being. Therefore, people continue this tradition. On annual Double Ninth Festival, they will climb a mountain, appreciate chrysanthemums, wear cornel and drink chrysanthemum wine to celebrate the festival.
This weekend, the Yuz Museum will bring a special event for the Double Ninth Festival. You will learn the history of the Double Ninth Festival through reading a picture book. The protagonist of the picture book Xiao Mi ascends a height with her friend on the Double Ninth Festival. Unexpectedly, Xiao Mi’s Yun Fu (a necklace in the shape of a cloud) rang up. It was an injured crane fall on her balcony. In order to save the crane, Xiao Mi bring a magical gourd, traveling to ancient times to find the chrysanthemum spring…
Do you also want have a magical gourd? Coming to Yuz Museum with your families and following a teacher to paint special chrysanthemum pattern on a gourd, then take it to work your magic!
Activity Process：
1. Reading picture book “Ranger Xiao Mi-Chrysanthemum Spring ”. (about 20 minutes)
2. Participate in a Q&A session about the Double Ninth Festival. (about 5-10 minutes)
3. Painting on a magic gourd. (about 45 minutes)
