各式各样的"书呆子"

两耳不闻窗外事，一心只读圣贤书。你身边有这样的人吗？他们通常被冠以"书呆子"的绰号。英文里，又是怎么称呼他们的呢？
1.He is a perfect type of pedant.
他是个十足的老夫子。
[点津] pedant：卖弄学问的人，学究，书呆子
It does not mean my dad is just a pedant.
这不代表我爸是个只会卖弄学问的书呆子。
2.He looked kind of nerdy.
他看着就是个书呆子。
[点津] nerdy：书呆子气的，无趣乏味的
Is he new here? He appears quite nerdy.
他是新来的员工吧，满身书生气。
3.I guess I'm old school.
我想我是老派的。

Her beloved father was of the old school.

4.At university he had a reputation as a swot.
