看着线性代数的前言热泪盈眶

看着gilbert strang写的introduce to linear algebra 前言，这篇前言一点不像教科书，倒有点像一篇散文。ps:他们这些科学家都像散文或者哲学家。
封面画着本书的主题，没看太明白，
the goal is serious, to explain this beautiful and useful part of mathematics.
被这句话折服，线性代数是数学中美丽而有用的一部分，所以需要严肃的解释。
i hope every teacher will learn something new,familiar ideas can be seen in a new way.这句话和孔子那句学而时习之异曲同工之妙。
the newest website will be a permanent record of ideas and codes and good problems and solutions.please contribute!good problems are welcome by email:gs@math.mit.edu.Send new application too, linear algebra is an incredibly useful subject.
看看人家怎么对待学生或读者的，有任何问题都可以向他提问，也欢迎把有应用的领域给人家发过去，这才是真的老师啊！授之以渔而不是授之以鱼！专门为这本书建立一个网站，这不是随便写一本书的国内作者能相提并论的，看看他们的严谨和严肃。然而他们又是激情澎湃的！
the century of data has begun. the true is that vectors and matrices have become the language to know.上了很多线性代数的课，也看了很多国内线性代数书，从来没有人告诉我原来向量和矩阵是一种语言，我滴天啦！
Part of that language is the wonderful variety of matrices.Let me give three examples,symmetric matrix,orthogonal matrix, triangular matrix.
我勒个去，当初学线代时烦这么多矩阵变来变去，太难记忆。然而这些多变在这位老师看来却是线代精彩的一部分。多么惭愧啊，这就是境界差异。把这些变化，复杂视为精彩纷呈的语言节目，实在是活出一定境界了。
Linear algebra is a fantastic subject, enjoy it.
有没有看到，线性代数是一门极其精彩的科目，享受吧，骚年！这就是境界，享受你所学的知识，这就是学习的意义和乐趣！
I cannot even name all the friends who helped me, the greatest encourage of all is the feeling that you are doing something worthwhile with your life.
读完这句话话后热泪盈眶，第一次读教材的前言被感动，就因为里面出现的worthwhile with your life.知道吗，你的生命什么才是有意义的？什么才是值得的？这位老师把读者的建议和思路实例作为所有的辛苦都是值得的。不是像国内，有帮助了捐点钱，人家需要的是实际例子，这种高尚和知识的探索实在高山仰止。
