Nicolas Ghesquière正式入驻Louis Vuitton
Louis Vuitton与11月4日正式宣布任命Nicolas Ghesquière为女装艺术总监,首个系列将于明年三月的2014秋冬时装周上曝光。“Louis Vuitton对于我来说代表着终极奢华,创新与探险”,Ghesquière回应道:“我很荣幸能有机会成为这个法国品牌历史中的一笔。”
《WWD》表示Louis Vuitton称Ghesquière将为女装系列带来“摩登且充满创意的新形象,优雅、聪慧,并且质地精良”,也期待Ghesquière能像在Balenciaga那样将Vuitton带入新纪元。
一年前,Balenciaga创意总监Nicolas Ghesquière确定离开品牌,结束长达15年的合作关系。随后Balenciaga任命Alexander Wang为创意总监。就在今年10月,2014春夏时装周结束后,根据《New York Magazine》和一大批自从Jacobs宣布离开就密切关注Ghesquière一举一动的博主们的消息,这位前任Balenciaga创意总监已经接手了这个新职位。
