本站讯:“全球化背景下的东亚社会文化互动——首届东亚人类学家学术研讨会”于今天下午正式闭幕。本次研讨会共有来自中国、韩国、日本、俄罗斯、蒙古、越南等国的25位人类学专家及众多青年学者参加。本次会议提倡人之一的韩国首尔大学人类学系教授全京秀说,西方和东方的人类学有着不一样的文化传统和理论背景,而目前东亚人类学的发展需要东亚学者的交流和互助,希望借此研讨会共同促进东亚人类学的发展以及学者之间的交流;“东亚人研究东亚”也成为此次研讨会的特点。经过与会代表激烈的讨论,最后一致同意将这一交流网络称为“东亚人类学家民族学家论坛”,并定期举办研讨会及出版相关研讨文集。第二届研讨会将于两年后在日本举行。
1. Background and justification
The Nationalities Research Institute, Yunnan University, Kunming, PR China in collaboration with Department of Anthropology of Seoul National University , will organize an academic seminar during 27-29Oct, 2009. One of the objectives of the seminar is to provide an opportunity for scholars from East Asia to present their research progress and exchange ideas with regional scholars. Paper presentation will also be joined by faculty members of Nationalities Research Institutes, Yunnan University.
Participants of the seminar will include anthropologists from East Asia, faculty members of Nationalities Research Institute, Yunnan University. The seminar will thus focus on following sub-themes
· Regionalization of Development and Border Issues
· Religion, Language and Tradition
· Resources, Contested Space and Negotiations
· Mobility, Social Practices and Identity
· Resources, Local Knowledge and Urbanization
· Place and Identity
· Associations, Cooperatives and Commercialization
· Heritages, Tourism and Commoditization
· Resources, Knowledge and Livelihood Diversification
· Mobility and Trans-local Identities
· Transnational Marriage and Identity
2) Format of the seminar
Format of the seminar will be the presentation of papers by anthropologists from different countries of East Asia, faculty members of Nationalities Research Institute, Yunnan University.
Each participant will have 30 minutes for paper presentation and discussion/questions.
3) Objectives
1) To provide opportunities for anthropologists from East Asia, faculty members of Nationalities Research Institute, Yunnan University to exchange their research ideas and experiences.
2) To discuss the application of social science concepts and theories in the East Asia regional context, and
3) To established academic collaborative networks among academics from different countries of East Asia.
