Kuma Kuna, a project initiated by Maria Blaisse for which she developped a specific elastic foam to make a study form in movement. In this project she developed a series of costums with a focus on the stubborn qualities of the material. The costums are trying to find their counterbalance of the strenght of the human body. In movement the wearer is influencing the form of the costumn, and visa versa, together forming a fascinating language.
