闫然，中国青年电影人。曾担任导演、编剧以及文学策划。他代表作有《云下的日子》、《幸存日》。又在2012年拍摄完成了电影《莫道君行早》和《Born in 1966》。2011年10月，电影《云下的日子》被中国电影家协会第六届青年影像论坛选为年度推介电影；2012年4月，电影《云下的日子》被中国电影导演协会2011年度表彰大会评为24部优秀影片之一； 2011年4月，电影《幸存日》入围（2011年）第十八届北京大学生电影节主竞赛单元。他的电影精神在于一直延续现实主义创作，探寻历史的真相、现实中的悲欢离合，以及对未来无尽的憧憬。
Ran Yan, a young Chinese filmmaker, once was director, editor and associate screenwriter. His representative works include Sweet Journey, Together. Also, he finished Before Being Earlier and Born in 1966. Sweet Journey was chosen as the annual recommendation film by the 6th Chinese Young Generation Film Forum held by Chinese Film Association in October 2011 and was also praised as one of the 24 classiest films in 2011 Commendation Conference by Chinese Film Association in April 2012. Together was nominated in the main competition unit of 18th Beijing College Student Film Festival 2011 in April 2011. The spirit of his films has been continuing the realism producing, exploring the truth of history and sorrow and happiness in reality, and endlessly looking forward to the future.
