弗朗哥：基本上这戏是关于男人接吻的，跟哈维·米克无关

某天的《大卫·莱特曼晚间秀》（这个不CJ的老男人啊）
莱特曼：你在电影中演谁？
弗朗哥：我演哈维·米克的男朋友，西恩·潘的男朋友。（这个，戏外也是BF？）
莱特曼：我看了电影，有好多男人的吻戏啊。
弗朗哥：是滴，是滴。基本上这戏是关于男人接吻的，跟哈维·米克没啥关系。
莱特曼：（大笑）不会吧。但是我在想，有人打电话来说：“嘿，想不想跟西恩·潘合作啊？”你的第一反应都会是：“那还用说。”
弗朗哥：是的。
莱特曼：然后就是，“我……我要亲西恩·潘”，你知道我的意思，会不会觉得怪怪的？
弗朗哥：呃……那不是我预想的，我是说，我是看着西恩的电影长大的，比如[开放的美国学府]，我怎么会想到有一天能亲到史匹科。但加斯·范桑特是我最喜欢的导演之一，西恩·潘，牛到不行的演员，所以我就说：“好，我演。”
弗朗哥：我跟西恩在大马路边热吻，那是我们拍的第一场吻戏。
莱特曼：就在旧金山？
弗朗哥：在×××大街。（街名没听懂）
莱特曼：大家都在看你们？
弗朗哥：两、三百人，就在摄影机后面，看着我们的第一个吻，我就像……你知道，在你还是小年青的时候，大家都在那儿看你的第一个真爱之吻，你知道我的意思。感觉在度日如年。因为大家都在看，我就想：“千万别拍砸了。”然后我们就在那里拍了又一遍啊又一遍……等我们拍完的时候，呃，那天我们就拍了这一场戏，我要穿过人群走到我的车那边去，大家都围上来说：“天啊，拍的真好。吻得很有爱啊。詹姆斯。”我是头一回碰上这样的事。
莱特曼：你有没有故意拍不好……
弗朗哥：故意……拍不好？
莱特曼：是啊，呵呵呵呵呵呵呵，我不知道。
莱特曼：你什么时候准备好亲西恩·潘的？我是说，你有没有跟他聊过，你有多陶醉？
弗朗哥：我没想过，你知道在电影里亲西恩对我来说可是一件大事情，我对这电影很有信心，所以很愿意去做，如果你也想要一个的话，我现在就可以吻你。
莱特曼：算了，还是算了吧。
（但是在观众的起哄下，莱特曼还是得到了来自弗朗哥的香吻一枚）
莱特曼：我们……我们是不是火了？
Letterman: What part do you play in the film?
Franco:So I play Harvey Milk's boyfriend,Sean Penn's boyfriend.(interrupt Letterman's question with a big laughing)
Letterman:I was watching the film, there's a lot of man-kissing in the movie.
Franco:(continue his big laughing )Yeah, that's right. It's basically not even about Harvey Milk,it's about man-kissing.
Letterman:(laughing)No! But I'm thinking to myself,if somebody calls:'Hey,you want be in Sean Penn movie?'Your first reaction probably 'Sure.'
Franco:Yeah.
Letterman:And then what I...I would kiss Sean,you know, then I don't know, do you just, I mean, it's kind be odd,right?
Franco：Ehhh~~I mean, it was not what I expect, you know, I grew up watching Sean, watching Fast Times（[开放的美国学府]）, I never dreamed I would be kissing Spicoli（潘叔在[学府]里的角色。此时，Franco，Letterman和一众腐败的观众已经笑到不行了）。But Gus van Sant is one of my favourite directors, and Sean Penn, you know, one of the best actors as ever, so I was like, of course I'll do it.
Franco：So Sean and I kissing on the side-walking, that was the first kiss that we shot...
Letterman: Shot right in San Francisco?
Franco: On ***Street(街名，听不懂)。
Letterman: People were there watching you?
Franco: Two or three hundred people, right behind camera, watching our first kissing, and it was like...I mean, it feels like when you're a teenager, you blamed truthful dear like the first real kiss, everybody like watching, you know what I mean（同人狼的笑声）. （假装很郁闷，实际很享受滴）So it's like a minute long, and I was sitting there like 'all these people are watching, better not screw it up.' I just do it and do it and do it...（噢卖糕的，你们到底做了几遍？难怪同人狼们又笑了）And then, you know, when we finished, and eh... it's the only scene we shoot in that day(天啊，Franco说话实在极其高明，他居然巧妙的暗示了他们do了很多遍), so I kindda walk through the crowed to the car, and everybody come and (做出握手的动作) 'Oh, man, that was great,***(没听懂)'one of the real people that knew Harvey,'it's a great kiss, that was a good job, James.' That was the first time I ever been.
Letterman: To me it's kindda make me open I do screwed up, I mean, I think maybe that's what you want, isn't it?(不是很确定，好像Letterman在问Franco有没有故意拍得很差，然后好……字母大叔，你，你，你……)
Franco: Ehhh...to screwed up?
Letterman: Yeah, yeah, I mean, do you really wanna be good kissing *** I don't know.
Letterman: When you and Sean Penn get ready to kiss?
Franco:Yes.
Letterman: I mean, do you talk about it, I mean, how drunk are you, first of all?
Franco: I didn't thinking about this, you know. It's a big thing for me to kiss Sean Penn for the film, but you know, I believe in the movie so much, I will did it, and if you want it, I'll be willing to kiss you right now.(噢，主动向老头子送吻，你不是不跟40岁以上的老男人乱搞么？噢，对不起，那不是你，那是电影中的你)
Letterman:(半推半就)No, I don't.(观众拼命起哄，字母大叔，那都是你的托吧？)
（然后，弗朗哥就给字母大叔的脸颊上来了一个响亮的kiss）
