雅思大作文5分一篇--人类受法律约束
Society is based on rules and laws. It could not function well if individuals were free to do as they please. To what extent do you agree or disagree.
People have long been arguing about whether they should obey the rules and laws. Some people think these regulations can help them to have a better living environment while others regard freedom as the priority. In my opinion, rules and laws are indispensible part of our society.
Laws frame the structure of the society and tell people dos and don’ts. To start this topic, we need first have a look at the word freedom. Freedom does not mean letting everybody do anything they want. Actually, freedom is unconditional; it is in fact a product which is always sold with a price called responsibility. For example, if you used some electrical appliance, you should pay the fee for the utility. And if you were elected the president of a country, then you have to do everything you can to help those who have faith in you to live a better life. The more right you own, the larger your responsibility is .
Though freedom is something everyone supposed to pay the same amount of responsibility according to the price tag shows, not everyone live with rationality, they just take freedom as granted and jeopardize the stability of our society. Therefore we need to implement a system that regulates people’s behavior and require them to assume the responsibility. And for the most important thing, rules and laws can help to construct a society with justice fairness and righteousness, protecting those who are in need from being bullied by those who are in power. If legislation was gone someday, I’m afraid those with power and wealth but no consciousness would do whatever they like to prove they are in power. And the whole world will be reined by chaos.
Laws and rules do not contradict with freedom at all, for not everyone in the world know that they should pay freedom by responsibility.
