对于大部人中国来说,“意大利”意味着美酒,美食,美人,美景与足球。坐落于意国北方的古城热那亚始终传承着自罗马黄金时代以来的美食传统,于是来自家乡热那亚的主厨海啸,带着这份热那亚人的执着,穿越大半个地球,为上海带来原汁原味的意大利北方美食。
事实上,意大利红意艺术餐厅的主人是Lawrence Zhao 与主厨海啸(Leandro Carrega),于是将这家餐厅选址于1933老厂坊的“别有用意”似乎也就呼之欲出了。意大利美食,从来就不仅仅是口腹之欲的满足,文化、艺术与徜徉的环境,才是这场饕餮的主题。而以古罗马时期巴西利亚卡风格设计的1933老厂坊,似乎正是红意在上海意外邂逅的“旧情人”。
当1933的游客们醉心游走于盘旋的廊道,摸索着斑驳光影下的台阶拾级而上,施施然地,便会撞入红意沉重浓墨的红木门,象是穿越了历史,在这里静驻等候了千年,不悲不喜,不卑不亢。于是透明落地窗里手持折戟的彩釉兵马俑,似乎也是带着全身历史的粗砾,却携着鲜活的鼻息而来。
推开红意标志性的红木门,扑面的“红尘异世”。肃穆的兵马俑护卫,惆怅的女神石像,透明的水滴繁星吊灯,大钢琴,红沙发,纸糊幽暗的小台灯,在此之前,你似乎很难想象,这些迥然不同的元素,可以以这样的方式,在同一个地方,肆意地进行碰撞和冲击。于是你会怀疑,这是从秦朝穿越到了古罗马的热那亚,还是置身于交错平行的另一个时空。

如今自三月起,红意将首推128元每位的周二套餐,让意大利美食不再那么“可远观而不可近亵”。周二的红意,不仅亲民,更将为上海当地青年的“草根艺术”提供舞台。为支持青年艺术家的表演,每周二,“Tuesday Sounds Tasty”特别节目,将邀请来自当地大学、艺术机构、自由乐队的青年歌手,舞蹈家,艺术家,在红意的曼妙空间里展示才华,同时为每位前来享有美食的顾客提供视听味觉的三重享受。在这里,帮助红意一起,发掘培养本土艺术新力量,见证艺术新星的成长。

Landed in Shanghai 1933, Rosso Italiano Restaurant & Art brings “Tuesday Sounds Tasty” to everyone with their unique Genova cuisine. Now since this March, Rosso Italiano will recommend their Tuseday Special’s Set Menu. Just in 128RMB/person, Italian cuisine is no longer be un-available for common citizens. In Tuesday’s Rosso, you can get not only the special discounts in set menu, but also a special event called “Tuesday Sounds Tasty”, which is involved in Chinese young talents including artists, bands (Jazz & Blues), singers. Rosso provides a public platform for these young stars to show their performance, meanwhile, bring triple entertainments of audio, visual and tasty to Rosso’s customers.
For most of Chinese people, the word of “Italy” means Delicacies, Beauties, and Footballs. Located in the north of Italy, the ancient town of Genova is famous for its traditional cuisine which is inherited from Old Rome’s golden age. Birth from his hometown, now Rosso’s Chef Leandro Carrega crossed half of the earth to China, bring his Genova passion to Shangha, and share the original flavor from the north of Italy.
Rosso Italiano Restaurant & Art is ran by Lawrence Zhao from local Shanghai and the Chef Leandro Carrega from Genova, so we may not so difficult to understand why Rosso is set up in Shanghai 1933 – a new innovation landmark of Shanghai.
Italian cuisine has never just met the needs of starving, but also for experience the unique culture, art and easy environment. Designed in ancient Rome’s style, Shanghai 1933 seems to be just caught by Rosso Italian like one old sweetheart who fell in love long with each other time ago.
Walking around the twisted stairs, exploring the mysterious maze with light and shadow, you will meet Rosso by chance with its wood door in so Chinese red. Crossing from the history, waiting for thousands of years here, quietly and silently, the Terra-Cotta Warriors with their arms are standing in the glass window, playing a dumb show and be ready for your coming always just in Rosso Italiano.
Knocking open the heavy red door, another world is coming to embrace you. Sober Terra-Cotta Warrior, dolorous Venus stone, crystal drop lighting, big piano, red sofa… Before that, you can barely imagine all of these different elements can be crashed and combined in one way in one venue.
