When I read the Chinese translation of Charlotte’s Web in college, I was not moved at all. I felt the story was mundane, and I was confused why so many people liked it and some of them even considered it as the book of one’s life. Now, over ten years later, I picked up the English version of this book, and my eyes brimmed with tears several times during reading it. I began to understand the appeal of this book.
