Courgette, Coriander and Celery

08:30 - 10:30 Meeting with James and Daisy

I met Daisy outside reception, she is starting a PhD with James, and did undergrad here at the department as well. She is from Bristol and was interning at Bristol University over the summer. She likes dancing (did ballet when she was younger, and invited me to Salsa), Harry Potter and trashy fantasy novels. We just had a morning coffee/tea with James then just chatted between us.

12:00 - 12:30 College Nurse's Talk and Lunch

Josep invited me to lunch at Upper Hall, I ate with Chris, Josep, Doris and Marguerite. That's Courgette and Coriander soup (with celery). It was surprisingly not bad, or maybe I was just too hungry.

14:00 - 15:00 Hello Talk of the new head of department, then coffee/cake afterwards

15:00 - 16:30 Signing of the college matriculation register

This was at the Master's room in the Yusuf Hamied Centre. You had to wear a gown for this.

18:30 - 20:00 Bouldering with Nadia
