ESSAY WRITING GUIDE
You may be bored while writing your essay because you are actually lying to yourself in a very deep way about what you are doing and why you are doing it.
Why you would dare presume that worth, beauty and elegance are unworthy of your pursuit. Do you plan to settle for ugly and uncouth? Do you want to destroy, instead of build?
「Rules」
You have very little right to break the rules, until you have mastered them.
- selection of the word
- crafting of the sentence
- paragraph: 10 sentences and 100 words long/a paragraph should present a single idea
- sequence: in logical progression
- as a whole: originality or creativity
- a context of interpretation made up of the reader
- the culture that the reader is embedded in
{How to start?
The fact of your interest is evidence of the importance of the topic.
- Choose an important(to you)topic: a formulated question you want to answer
- Topic list & Reading list, broden bodies through the good writing's reference
- assume you need 5-10 bookd or articles per thousand words of essay
{How to note?
Attempt to say back to author "this is that I understand you are saying".
- Do a psychological notes: Pay careful attention to your emotional reactions.
- What you have learned? Is there any questions that have arisen in your mind?
- Enjoy the recreation of what you have written in your own language.
- You can also do some notes on notes.
{After Reading
With book closed.
- Eliminate extra details and concentrate on what is important.
- Extract the gist of the writing, not do something "simplistic".
- Listen to what you say.
「How it Proceed?」
Better meaning richer in information, precise, coherent, elegant and beautiful.
- A 125% draft.
- A outline: ten to fifteen sentence outline, make sub-outlines if you need. The outline is basically the argument.
- Prodauction. Work back and forth.
- Editing: Rewrite the sentence and check them in the best possible order. Sentence: Shorter | Simpler | Precisely | Exactly. Then re-order sentences and paragraphs to get a pretty decent second draft.
- Rewrite a new outline of 10 or 15 sentences. Do not look back at your essay! Then re-arrangement materials to get your newly outlined essay. ➡ Third draft.

You can look at what you have produced with fresh eyes.
- take a few days to reeeeeee-order and wait for new ideas emerge
