ἀστέρων πάντων ὀ κάλλιστος . . . Ἔσπερε πάντα φέρων ὄσα φαίνολις ἐσκέδασ’ Αὔως †φέρεις ὄιν, φέρεις† αἶγα, φέρεις {ἄπυ} μάτερι παῖδα.

The most beautiful one among all the stars... Hesperus, the evening star, You gather everything shining dawn scattered, you bring the sheep, bring the goat, bring the child back to her mother.
