When I consider everything that grows 当我思量世间生长的万物 Holds in perfection but a little moment, 完满的时刻仅出现一刹那， That this huge stage presenteth nought but shows 而大千世界所展现的一切 Whereon the stars in secret influence comment; 写照着繁星潜移默化的影响； When I perceive that men as plants increase, 当我发觉世人如草木般滋长， Cheered and check'd even by the selfsame sky, 受着同一片天的鼓动与按捺， Vaunt in their youthful sap, at height decrease, 年少时气盛轻狂，盛极时又衰退， And wear their brave state out of memory; 美好的情景逐渐被遗忘； Then the conceit of this inconstant stay 于是无常的世界让我继续幻想 Sets you most rich in youth before my sight, 我的眼前出现了你的青春韶华， Where wasteful Time debateth with Decay 虚度的时间与衰退一同谋划 To change your day of youth to sullied night; 要将你的青春白昼化为污浊黑夜； And all in war with Time for love of you, 为了爱你，我将与时间抗争， As he takes from you, I engraft you new. 它将你摧折，我为你嫁接新生。
