读书笔记之A Tree Grows in Brooklyn

Francie出生三个月之后，Katie发现自己断奶了，经过Sissy指点，原来Katie又怀孕了，虽然Francie很虚弱，邻居们都劝她放弃Francie，但Katie坚定地要把Francie带大。在Francie一岁生日后的一周，带着父亲英俊气质的Neely出生了，他的到来完全占据了Katie的内心，对Francie和Johnny态度也发生了巨大变化。Katie变成了斗士，Johnny则变成梦想家。

Johnny knew he was doomed and accepted it. Katie wouldn't accept it. She started a new life where her old one left off.

Katie had a fierce desire for survival which made her a fighter. Johnny had a hankering after immortality which made him a useless dreamer . And that was the great difference between these two who loved each other so well.
