Some peopele believe that children should not be given homework everyday, while others believe that they must get home work everyday in order to be successful at school. Discuss both sides and give your opinion.
People have divergent views about whether children should be assigned homework every day. While these daily training may contribute to their academic performance, I believe that we should not impose too heavy burdens on them.
On the one hand, some people insist that doing homework can help student review what they learn every day. As we know, most people only have short memories about what they heard and see, so do students with their studying. In this situation, it is possible to help students consolidate what they learn from classes by completing relevant homework.
On the other hand, others claim that most teenagers are already under enough pressure with their studies at school, without being given the added responsibility of studying in their spare time. School is just as demanding as a full-time job, and teachers expect their students to be active in each class. Thus, it is more reasonable that we should encourage them to enjoy their free time with their friends rather than performing extra work after class.
In my opinion, I do not believe that schools have anything to gain from obliging students to study after class on a daily basis. In fact, I would argue that it goes against the principle of efficiency to require students to study during their time away from study. Doing this can only lead to resistance amongst students, who would feel that they were viewed as a studying machine.
In conclusion, I believe that students should not be arranged homework everyday.

Some people claim that learning most subjects need to make gradual improvements because it is not realistic to expect sudden changes. For example, if students were learning to play the piano, they would not expect to go from intermediate to advanced in a few weeks. By contrast, they would need to work hard and practise every day to get to an advanced level on the piano.
