校长写的歌词很多都很不错，不能说像诗，不过确实很耐人寻味，有隐喻的成分在；虽然Queen很有意识地说要避开政治，但就像这首hammer to fall, 好像表面是讲人生的徒劳，讲命运的反抗，然而放到当时的时代背景下来看却好像也有大家说的反冷战的意味，这也是我为什么没有把所有“hammer to fall”的部分翻译成“大限将至”的原因。有些地方可能是有点意译了，仅是个人理解。
