Scolophyllum ilicifolium 冬青叶芒泥花

Scolophyllum 这个属，是日本植物学家山崎敬（Takasi Yamazaki）于1978年建立的属。该属与泥花草属 Bonnaya 很接近，不同之处在于，叶片有具芒的齿，花冠管细长而弯曲，以及不育雄蕊呈乳房状。最后这个特征倒是很符合“母草”的中文名，但我并未见过该属植物，无法直观感受“不育雄蕊呈乳房状”是怎么一回事。

This genus is closely related to the genus Lindernia, especially to subgen. Bonnaya, but differs from the latter by having the slender corolla-tube covered with densely glandular hairs, the explanated corolla-limb and the breast-shaped staminodes. These characters are sufficiently distinctive features to separate the genus.

该属植物叶片类似泥花草而锯齿具芒，因此有人给这个属拟名为“芒泥花属”。而种加词 ilicifolium 则是“冬青状叶片的”这个意思。叶片的状态倒是跟刺齿泥花草很像，也跟某些种类的冬青有些相似——譬如枸骨和刺叶冬青。

芒泥花属的模式种是 Scolophyllum ilicifolium。

分布于泰国、缅甸、越南。

有点像放大一号的刺齿泥花草。我猜测，甚至头序泥花草和伞序泥花草，这两种锯齿具芒的种类，可能也跟这个属的种类有亲缘关系。

没有找到发表的文献（准确说是没有去找）。也暂无精力去找寻该种的描述原文，因此也没有对应的译文了。
