杨福东
1971年生于北京。1995年毕业于中国美术学院油画系，现工作生活于上海。杨福东被誉为目前中国最成功和最有影响力的电影摄像艺术家之一。2004年入选纽约古根海姆当代艺术奖，成为继蔡国强、黄永砯之后第三位获此殊荣的华人艺术家。杨福东非常尊重中国传统和中国艺术。他创作了强烈的富有诗意的电影，彰显了对日常生活的思考和经验。杨福东的电影通常围绕不同主题展开，但都有意图、神学和文学性。
杨福东曾多次参加全球重要艺术展览，如古根海姆博物馆(纽约7) 、路易威登基金会(巴黎)、第12届里昂双年展(里昂)、沙迦双年展11(沙迦) 、2010 第十七届悉尼双年展(悉尼)、第50和第52届威尼斯国际艺术双年展(威尼斯)、第五届亚太当代艺术三年展(昆士兰)、利物浦双年展(利物浦)、第11 届卡塞尔文献展(卡塞尔)、第四届上海双年展(上海)、横滨2001:国际当代艺术三年展(横滨)、第7届伊斯坦布尔双年展(伊斯坦布尔)等。同时，他在国际著名的艺术机构和画廊举办个展，如苏黎世美术馆(苏黎世)、PARASOL UNIT 当代艺术中心(伦敦)、国家当代艺术博物馆(雅典)、原美术馆(东京)、维也纳美术馆(维也纳)等。
Yang Fudong
Yang Fudong (b.1971) was born in Beijing. He graduated from the Oil Painting Department of China Academy of Fine Arts in 1995. He currently works and lives in Shanghai. Yang Fudong is among the most influential Chinese cinematographers and photographers today. He was a finalist for Hugo Boss Award in 2004 and won this honor as the third Chinese artist after Cai Guoqiang and Huang Yongping. Yang Fudong is very respectful to the traditions of China, as well as Chinese art. He creates strong, powerful and poetic films which manifest the thoughts and experiences of everyday life. There are different themes surrounding Yang Fudong’s films, but they all have a purpose, theological or literal.
Yang Fudong had participated in prestigious international art events at Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum (New York), Foundation Louis Vuitton (Paris); La Biennale de Lyon 2013 (Lyon), Sharjah Biennial 11 ( Sharjah), 17th Biennale of Sydney 2010 (Sydney), 50th and 52nd International Art Exhibition Venice Biennale (Venice); The 5th AsiaPacific Triennial of Contemporary Art (Queensland), Liverpool Biennial 2004 (Liverpool), Documenta 11, Kassel (Kassel); 4th Shanghai Biennale (Shanghai), Yokohama 2001 (Yokohama); 7th International Istanbul Biennial (Istanbul) etc.. Meanwhile, he had had solo-shows at acclaimed institutions and galleries, such as The Kunsthalle Zurich (Zurich), Parasol Unit Foundation for Contemporary Art (London), National Museum of Contemporary Art (Athens), Hara Museum (Tokyo), Kunsthalle, Wien (Vienna), among many others.
