剧中Teddy一直很想把Charlie哄睡，他们俩才有时间共处，所以她说的get there就是把Charlie哄睡，而不是身体层面上的到达某处

stumble分别有几个意思
1. to trip or fall while walking or running 绊倒（trip除了旅行之外做动词也有绊倒的意思）
2.To make a mistake or mistakes; blunder 犯错误，blunder 是大错的意思
3. (foll by: across or upon) to come (across) by accident 不小心碰见，进入
所以 stumble upon=不小心进入

隔壁的Dabney夫人打电话来（Dabney也是剧中重要角色，之后会出场）

我没看见 i haven't seen ……
i'm calling about……我打电话是因为（+某些事）
he's eating me out of house and home 把某人吃穷了
直译是从房子和家中吃掉某人，其实就是把某人给吃穷了，一般是在家里吃饭，把别人家都吃干净了，要疯了
step away from 离XX 远点
keep away from 远离
stay away from 离XX远一点
切勿踩踏草坪

如果突出方位的话还可以这么说

like 大约，大概
like 还可以用作举例的时候
