还有另一个意思是to say sth about sb or sth in a negative way sometimes in a joke.
羞辱，看不起某人
比如i can believe she put him down like that.我不敢相信她竟然这样羞辱他

不在掌控之中就是out of control

that 指的是上一句中的big daddy=全能老爸

raisin 养育，动词是raise
