Last day of Restaurant Week in NYC
Resently I just wanna try to write some critics about food, and maybe a little about how they do their business. Not mention culture things, because I do not know much about it, or even barely know. There are so many things that I want to try, but first thing first, I should also learn. At least some basic methods and knowledge.
June, this year, I heard a man, Anthorny Bourdain, who was a chef, author and food explorer. However, the moment I heard the news was the moment he left, leaving a few documentaries and books. Occasionally, I clicked on a series of videos "Parts Unknown" and then, definitely, met a warrior defencing wonderful survivals of food, culture conveyed by food and folk lives. After arriving at NYC, when I was longing to find some glorious places to eat, Bourdain, the name jumped into my mind. Then at the time I searched Parts Unknown, I amazingly found a web page built by someone to mourn(?) Bourdain & Parts Unknown. There, I skimmed a lot more, stories, trips and video cuts.
That is the "Aha Moment". Though I can not even be a sous-chef, or have any deep culture comments, I can still try to eat like a Bourdain and talk with foodie folks like a Bourdain, even more -- try to write something like a Bourdain.
As a try, I put the restaurant I experienced in the last day of Restaurant Week here, while later I may try my best to reconstruct and polish it into a Bourdain's way (hope so):
(to be continue...)
