Location:Hongkong/Shenzhen/Guangzhou
Job Purpose:
Deliver increased sales result in China through project & specification demand generation from Hongkong based deciders;
Lead successful execution of global project strategy in target market;
Maximize spec creation, minimize spec breaking; provide support for local sales and marketing;
Increase project pipeline from Hongkong based key accounts;
Professionalize project channel processes.
Responsibilities:
Implement & manage company project management systems & processes to:
• Measure all aspects of project business – i.e. # and value of qualified leads/specs/converted specs; margins by product and customer etc.
• Create sustainable relationships within and through the involved Network of Deciders in Hongkong
• Secure best working and available assortment within a dedicated communication and service environment
• Ensure sufficient resource allocation and management attention within the company environment (local/regional/global)
Measure & analyze critical success factors for best practice and implement improvement processes
Identify key channels and targets in Region for early lead generation by
• Hotel Group – National & International
• Architects
• Designers
• Investors
• Developers/House builders
• Contractors
• Special projects i.e. Olympics, World Cup, etc
Define plans to target Key groups within the above project channels.
Work with Global and Regional colleagues to define and deliver the “tools” required both by direct and indirect customers to enhance and differentiate service and support to project sales to deliver increased sales result
• Lead Management, Specification Proposals, Conversion Tactics
• Project specific content and sales materials/presenters
• Service levels i.e. Samples presentation; Guarantees, Training
• Project – Mandate/Support plans
• Product update for Project customers
• Incentive and commission schemes
• Customer relationship management
• Communication tools
Develop & maintain data base/records of all key project contacts in region and within an international/global working environment by using system supported Sales Reporting and Analysis tools;
Gather competitor market intelligence and report through product marketing & Group market intelligence;
Effectively manage interface and pricing co-ordination between key accounts and company regional sales managers;
Operate within company budgets and guidelines at all times.
