British Shorthair
                
                
英国短毛猫简称“英短”，是英国最常见的品种之一。毛色种类繁多，其中最常见的是蓝灰色，也就是我们平时说的“蓝猫”。
著名的枕边读物《爱丽丝梦游仙境》中那只会笑会说话、喜欢恶作剧的柴郡猫，就是作者根据英短的形象设计出来的。
美国经典长片动画《汤姆和杰瑞》中的主角汤姆猫，也是以英短为原型的。（简直是给英短家族丢脸啊哈哈哈哈~）

美国短毛猫是地地道道的“移民”。据说，当年欧洲移民乘坐“五月花号”前往北美，为了除鼠，就随船携带了几只猫——它们便是美短的祖先。

异国短毛猫
 Exotic Shorthair
                
                
异国短毛猫就是大名鼎鼎的“加菲猫”，是美国短毛猫与波斯猫交配繁育出的一个品种。

鼻子短而宽，有明显凹陷，脸圆，下巴结实，眼睛大而圆，脖子粗短（感觉这是在形容一个球，23333）
性格
Gentle, calm, curious and playful, don’t like being left alone and need the presence of their owner
温柔，平静，好奇心强，顽皮，不喜欢独处，喜欢主人的陪伴
They quietly beg for your attention by just sitting in front of you with an irresistible look focused on your eyes. They will jump in your lap to curl up for a nap or push their wet nose right into your face.
他们会摆出让你无法抗拒的眼神来渴求你的关注。它们会跳到你的腿上打盹，或者把鼻子凑到你的脸上（想起来都觉得要萌化了啊啊啊）。

波斯猫
Persian Cats
                
                
波斯猫是最常见的长毛猫之一。因为它们长相甜美，举止优雅，所以素有“猫中王子”、“王妃”的称号。我们常说的金吉拉（Chinchilla）就是波斯猫的一种。

苏格兰折耳猫
Scottish Fold
                
                
苏格兰折耳猫由于基因突变，天生具有骨骼缺陷，它们的软骨部份有一个折，使耳朵向前屈折，并指向头的前方。也正因如此，这种猫患有先天患有骨科疾病，时常用坐立的姿势来缓解痛苦。
                
                
但是由于他们长相可爱，再加上这种坐姿很特别，因此很多繁育者会故意让两只折耳交配，确保生下来的小猫仍然是折耳（因为折耳猫和其他品种的立耳猫繁育出的猫咪不一定是折耳），从而获取利益。然而这样生下来的猫咪，一辈子都会在痛苦中度过，直到死去。

布偶猫发源于美国，又称“布拉多尔猫”，是一种杂交品种。是现存体型最大、体重最重的猫之一。外形美丽优雅，性格温顺粘人，被称为“猫中的狗”、“小狗猫” （puppy cats, dog-like cats, cat-dogs, etc）。
