1897年8月10日,德国拜耳公司的Felix Hoffmann成功的合成了纯化稳定的乙酰水杨酸,也就是阿司匹林。1899年阿司匹林首次上市,至今已100余年仍长盛不衰,屡有新的适应症发现,最近还有报道长期服用阿司匹林可以降低某些肿瘤的发生,真是神药啊。
