Chapter 67 of Tao Teh King--A Translation
The whole word says that my teaching of Tao makes no sense because it's too vast to be understood.
The problem is that if it resembles other teachings, the true nature implied will be lost with time.
For my teaching of Tao, I have three treasures for you to use and carry on.
The first is to love.
The second is to focus.
The third is dare not to be narcissistic.
Through love, one can be fearless.
With concentration, excellence can be achieved.
Being not self-centred enables one to grow mature and lead with the trend.
These days, however, abandoning love and concentration, chased only by limitless desires regardless of relevant conditions, it only results in ruthlessness, restlessness and vain. Under these circumstances, one is destined to fail!
Love always wins the wars and consolidates in defence. Why is that? Because it is love that guards us and is given to help us survive.
