My english diary - 5 May
It was a tough day for me today because it is my first day for my brand new job. This company are far more structured and complex then the one I worked previously. The HR was very professional and my team was handling some complicated yet well organized tasks monthly and quarterly. I was lucky enough that this team doesn't restrict my lunch hour to merely an hour, and I could go to wan chai or central for some cheap food at least. My first working day was quite ok, given that I didn't being assigned any task to handle. I was trying to familiar myself of their deck and data, and prepared myself to get into the new working mode ASAP. But I have to admit that the foreseeable tasks are a lot more tougher than the one I faced in my previous company, so I need to make sure I could survive from it...
I ran 7km tonight, and I afraid that I may not have the courage to run outside anymore, as the weather getting hot and humid. I was wet like there was pouring rain outside, which my grandma was shocked when I was soaked with my own sweat... A very intense day I could say, even I haven't done much... New start is just like a new game, I need to understand the rules so that I could play well later.
P.S. I just did a writing task 2, yey!
