Prepare for the SCU—MIT Summer Camp
The day before yesterday(10/07/2009) is the prepare time.
Vaguly knowing that I should go to Wangjiang frequently this summer, I caught the opportunity to wander around the old Campus with Ping, so that I could be familiar with the puzzling roads and reduce the rate of going lost. That day ,after our extensive reading examination—the last test of our final examinations—we set out on only one bike—my old broken bike. Ping sat on the back seat and looked whether one car came when I intended to cross the busy road. For it was the first time we went to another campus on ourseltes, we followed the school cars which go to and fro between the Jiang'an Campus and the Wangjiang Campus and searched for the right way.
We also made turnings depending on our feelings. Then trouble came. Easily we chose a wrong way because no school cars appeared since we had the turning. What was worse was that few people were on the road, so it's even
difficult for us to seek for help. Hopefully a lady and a girl walked toward us, I went up and asked the way, "Sorry, we are new here." the lady replied. But when they stopped a motor, I again felt bright for our trip. As a matter of fact, I depressed the second time due to the driver having no idea of our destination so that we waited until one car running through the road slowed down to ask for help. Then a kind guy told us "Just few stepps back and turn left, go along that way, then you can converge with the school car at the end ." we followed the words and saw a road which seemed to be created in seconds in surprise for that we hadn't sensed it when we came and that we hadn't seen it although standing here for 20-odd minutes.
Maybe at times, something key is near you, but you don't know. You think you have failed. However,in fact, success is beside you and smiling at you. only move a little or look farther, you will be excited.
After 3 hour's journy, we finally made it and rode everywhere in the Wangjiang campus from west gate to the east, from the Economic building to the Art building. It's a painful, joyful and courageous ride journy. Seldom girls can do it, but Ping and I are among the winners. What a reasonable and worthy thing to pursue and we have got paid--yesterday when I got there I had a clear idea of where we going and where we shoud go.
