答：說時鐘等慢了或快了四分鐘，一般說法是The clock is four minutes slow / fast。要說時鐘等總是走得太快或太慢，可用gain或lose兩字，例如：（1）My watch gains / loses (time)（我的手錶走得太快／太慢）。（2）The clock gains / loses two minutes a day（這個鐘每天快／慢兩分鐘）。
要說把時鐘等撥快或撥慢，則可用to put / set ahead / forward、to put / set back等說法，例如：My watch is running fast / slow. I have to put it back / ahead one minute（我的手錶快了／慢了，得撥後／撥前一分鐘）。
問：英文歌"Streets of London"（倫敦街道）有以下一句：She just keeps right on walking / Carrying her home in two carrier bags。這是說「她拿着兩個購物袋回家」還是「兩個購物袋盛着她回家」？
