Palo Alto是Radiohead在OK Computer时期的一首B-side歌曲，这歌早期版本的名字就叫做OK Computer。
Palo Alto是California的一座城市，位于硅谷，是Xerox和几家美国计算机公司的总部所在地。“city of the future”是Palo Alto的座右铭。这首歌就是关于这个“未来之城”以及其中的计算机行业的从业人员。歌词整体还是很形象地描绘了这个群体的机械、乐观、忙碌、缺少人际交流的工作和生活状况，并体现出对这个群体的关注和担忧。Radiohead于1996年3月在Palo Alto做过巡演，这首歌的创作应该就是基于乐队成员那段时间的所见所闻。
题外话：在网上看到光在美国就有5处叫做Palo Alto的地方，墨西哥还有1处。
