English Native Speakers Needed
Pactera is a huge multinational corporation of IT services. The global headquarters strategically located in China and regional headquarters in North America, Asia Pacific, and Europe. We need nearly 100 kinds of languages’ native speakers to support our projects. And we provide full time and part time job for them through the whole year. Moreover, we have cooperated with a large number of world famous corporations, Such as Microsoft, Sony, Huawei and so on. There are more than 25,000 employees worked for Pactera all over the world.
Pactera is recruiting Full time/part time English native speakers. The purpose of the project is to improve the voice recognition system of Xbox gaming console and windows phone. To improve the software, you will be listening to actual raw data and transcribing what you hear into text.
Ⅰ.Job Description:
1) Job Title: Transcriber/Annotator
2) Working Hours: From 9:00~18:00, 8 hours per day
3) Working dates: From Monday to Friday
4) Payment: Monthly
5) Work content:
*For transcription, you will be given tasks that include 200 lines of text and audio. The text may not always match the audio you hear. Your task will be to make corrections wherever necessary so that the audio matches the text. You will also add tags to indicate the presence of certain sounds.
*For mobile testing, you will do something like proofreading to improve the relative sets of mobile phone and the experience of end users.
Ⅱ.Job Requirements:
- Must be natives
- Passion for language with good knowledge of phonology in the target language
- A copy of CV is preferred
