2007年11月，一支融合了多种音乐元素的乐队在北京成立，它的名字叫作“龙锦”。当时的“龙锦”是一个3+1乐队，3个中国乐手+1个美国乐手（确切的说是一位音色暖人的美国歌手）。2008年中旬，美国主唱KIERAN归国。2008年11月，主唱戎橙、吉他/采样田然、打击乐权友加入，形成目前阵容。
“龙锦”曲风唯美、音色恬静，配器独到、简单流畅，节奏清新且不落俗套；歌词简明，却不失意浓情深。职业的音乐素养，超凡的音乐感觉，各异的音乐经历使得乐队几位成员的全新组合即刻擦出新的音乐之花。原本即为众多现场乐迷所熟悉面孔，此次组合以及对全新风格音乐的演绎必将大受乐迷的喜爱、追捧。
“龙锦”作品主要融合了民族、REGGAE、FUNK、DUB等多种音乐元素，我们可以尝试着把他们定义为“东方韵味十足的中式摇滚乐”。且浓郁且恬淡的中国特色融合了西方摇滚乐的精髓之后，“龙锦”势必成为中国新音乐领域中的一朵奇葩。
经过半年多的精心录制和缩混，“龙锦”将携《风云》向世人展示中美音乐人合力倾情之作的风采。
