My work begins an hour earlier than most others.
My typical day starts with checking the previous day’s market overview and price level of each tenor.
As I finish reading headlines from some newspaper and greet each dealer through messenger chat, the clock points to 9 a.m.
“Good morning, this is Liv from SMBS. Have a profitable day!”
We refer to the session from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. as war.
It will be another day of tension and urgency.
I should be careful with each bank’s different trade execution.
And I should stay alert so I can close today’s deals without any mistakes.
