什么叫青春饭

青春饭，知识更新快，必须不停学习才能不落后 -- 这个的确是这样理解。但是如果不愿意去不断学习的领域，根本就不该去吃这碗饭。好吧我的elitism 又犯了。。。。。

this kind of stuff makes me sad
have seen many coworkers like this - and as the younger person, i understand their frustration a bit, but they really DO NOT produce as much as the younger, less paid ppl. Family duites take time away from work. Ppl's priorities are usually families. Their skills go out of date - they dont quite keep up with the tech and science and even facts - it is really hard, i know, but it still shows.
simpliest example: if a 22 yo SDE can do the work for 120k, why pay a 40 yo 150k to do the same? And the 40 yo might be less productive....
I am not that young either, thinking about them is like an alarm to myself. DO NOT GO INTO CRUISE MODE!!!!!!!!
actively keep up - it is hard work, it will be hard work and keeping up is easier said than done.
if i dont feel like it, i am in the wrong line of work!!!
i now have the luxury of picking whatever i like to be my career - and i happen to like things pretty practical and valued by the outside world right now, so there are no excuses. I am already plenty lucky.
忘记哪里看见的一个生物(or some other science)方向的博士，非常艰辛的研究历程，有些领域不需要讲idea只需要大量炮灰，总有少数能成才的。太可怕的学科。。。。如果真心喜欢的是这样的事情，那真的是很艰苦。
对比一下觉得自己简直在无病呻吟。
