Backwards Toastmaster session-Guest speech

I was "astonishingly" puzzled the first 5 minutes of the meeting. Thanks for the explanation Lorraine! It does not mean that I am less puzzled in the end-only in different way.
Normally, for a person who has little or no experience in something, it is relatively easy to adjust to a new structure. However, today it was not the case for me. I found myself mentally slow and my brain was working very hard to figure out what is going on. It is definitely challenging!
I later realized that everyone was trying very hard to make as many mistakes as possible just to make me feel better--I am not the only one who is having a hard time! Your effort is very much appreciated!
That being said, I did enjoy today's session very much because of all the above. I particularly liked Henry's speech with his signature dry sense of humour. The only thing is, when you are going to find this place where you have previously been and want to go back again? I am really interested in visiting there one day.
There are still questions that remain unanswered. But one thing is certain, I am going home with more brain cells and neuron-connections in between old brain cells than I had before attending today's meeting.
