negotiation with Airasia, Pt 1.
my original flight was July 26th from Chengdu to Gold Coast, stop over KL.
somehow Airasia cancelled the flight from Chengdu to KL for July 26th
so I called the call center asking them to change my flight as follows:
Chengdu to KL July 23rd
KL to Gold Coast July 26th
The call centered did confirm the change with me before hanging up.
But the new Travel Itinerary came with a different
arrangement. in the new itinerary the flight is

Flight D7 2623
Depart from Chengdu (CTU) at 1455 (2:55 PM) and arrive in Kuala Lumpur LCCT (KUL) at 1935 (7:35 PM)

Flight D7 2702
Depart from Kuala Lumpur LCCT (KUL) at 2125 (9:25 PM) (+1 day) and arrive in Gold Coast (Brisbane) (OOL) at 0725 (7:25 AM)

the change is unacceptable , as:
1) the call center didn't change it the way we confirmed
2) I already booked another flight from Gold Coast to New Zealand on July 26th, thus I must take the July 26th flight from KL to Gold Coast.
So I called the call center again to inform them about this, and this time they told me they didn't have the authority to change the ticket into two parts and there's nothing much they could do.
So i'm writing to this FEEDBACK thing to see if there's any other way to work this out.
I do have my own suggestion though, which is I take the July 23rd from Chengdu to KL, then take the July 26th flight from KL to Gold Coast.
BTW, Airasia never informed me about the cancellation, it was my friend who told me about it. Don't you think it's a little bit disappointing?
