Creativefan 2010年度10佳视频@Vimeo(115)
这次的10佳多是timelapse,非常美丽。
1.Iceland, Eyjafjallajökull - May 1st and 2nd, 2010
by Sean Stiegemeier plus
So I saw all of these mediocre pictures of that volcano in Iceland nobody can pronounce the name of, so I figured I should go and do better. But the flights to get over took forever as expected (somewhat). 4 days after leaving I finally made it, but the weather was terrible for another 4. Just before leaving it got pretty good for about a day and a half and this is what I managed to get.
Wish I had more time. I missed all the cool Lightning and the Lava of the first eruption. But I figure this will just be a trial run for another day.
I am of course accepting sponsors to send me back there for more please...!! haha

6.Timelapse Montage
by Mike Flores
A montage of my timelapse shots from the past year or so. This is just my timelapse showreel - it was never meant to be a standalone film.
The dolly moves were done using two custom track and dolly systems that I engineered, utilizing off the shelf components with a bit of custom fabrication. My primary system consists of a set of Mumford rotary tables with a Time Machine for the motion control programming. The secondary system consisted of a lower tech servo city DC motor.
I'm currently Beta testing an all-in-one motion control dolly system from dynamicperception.com (The Stage Zero Timelapse Dolly Kit with MX2 controller) and getting great results.
Music is Hans Zimmer, "Dream is Collapsing" from the Inception soundtrack.

8.HDR Video Demonstration Using Two Canon 5D mark II's
by Soviet Montage
This video highlights several clips we've made using our new High Dynamic Range (HDR) process. Video is captured on two Canon 5D mark II DSLRs, each capturing the exact same subject via a beam splitter. The cameras are configured so that they record different exposure values, e.g., one camera is overexposed, the other underexposed. After the footage has been recorded, we use a variety of HDR processing tools to combine the video from the two cameras, yielding the clips you see above.
HDR Video provides filmmakers with many exciting new opportunities. Not only can HDR video create interesting effects, it can also allow for even exposure where artificial lighting is unavailable or impractical. For example, when a subject is backlit, one camera could be set to properly expose the subject, the other the sky, resulting in video with perfect exposure throughout.
We will continue to develop and improve the HDR video process for better results and efficiency. For more information, check out our website
