Till yesterday, I have done all my final exams.
Wednesday.
I quickly exchanged info with dad, and decided to sign for a driving license training school soon as possible, since most of my work has been done. oops. I had my last final exam by Dec.30th. I could not concentrate on reviewing it…. since it requires much of memory and repeat. I started making card to-evening but have not yet decided how many to send out. A dozen. could be. I happened to see a paper-making, or fold, into a xmas father. I got paper and glue and started mass production right then.
In the evening, I went for a copy of exam materials. And I managed to print out a few pages of graduate research paper… the reviews.
Overall, it was a simple and delightful day… as most of work is done.

I had my last exam… and after filling up the paper, I tried to list up my plans as to sign for a training school… and buy home ticket… and make cards to the following list…. ect. my class teacher laughed at the drawing on paper handkerchief and a woman teacher took it away and dumped it. After exam, I had a hot pot with roommate upstairs. We had a common roommate at the same table, she was having rice and … I invited her to try some food in the hot pot, and the opposite roommate said showed nothing… and in the end, the common roommate had a few soups … ~
I traveled to main campus and paid for my fees. Then I finished other process of signing up.
I went back and continued my mass production of card happy new year.
At about 9pm, just when I left for some more color paper, cousin called in. We talked for over an hour on the phone and from the conversation, I thought he was dad’s spy in the beginning… and I found later that well, dad knows cousin would call me but… cousin didn’t fully convey dad’s messages. :-) cousin and I talked about a lot things, school and career. Cousin suggested and encouraged me to take a different job as a start after graduation, as least I can might as well succeed without following dad’s wish as devoting my whole life in the state-cooperate. I assert that cousin was sent to a department as being a civil servant in law after graduation back to at least 15 years ago. Today this cousin also sees a lot opportunities for us graduates to start a career. However, yep, a lot job opportunities, but the best ones among all, the number is limited. I mean, we have huge choices, but only a few is fit for us. Cousin has learned little about how a university now runs like or what civil servant exams and post-graduate exams like, and even cousin holds great hope for the youths, craving a new world with hands. I am not sure… but much as a just person as my cousin be, he is supposed to be aware of the both sides of society and secret operations and even relations and rmb. Dunnoooo….. But the call,… he recalled me my memory of how I used to work hard and strive for the far-fetch dream. I was not willing to tell anybody more my past but… i don’t know why… I trust him and I think he can understand…. I told him everything…. dad and mom cannot understand, but cousin wanted to listen to me. Just since all that happened, I am not sure if I am really happy to take the job. I know, everybody and a lot people admire the opportunity and even old man, old man expects a permanent job, while I don’t. I told my cousin that I lost courage and confidence to strive for a better future… to seek after the dream… how can I live with the dream… and I… don’t know, did i give up? but it is really hard to say or to clarify it. Anyway, I appreciate that he can listen to me. Thank you! dad and mom treat my word as simple, trash. that’s it. just sometimes, I might need someone close to listen to… and understand… as since he is an adult. I like to share my ideas and thoughts with adults coz' quite a few times a lot times, their experience can tell me more. 3Q!
Yah, cousin is different from mom and dad. This cousin is the eldest of all cousins in my family on dad’s side. He and I are the only two who were and are pursuing a bachelor degree in the country and cousin devoted his life into civil servant work, and me too… is going to be enrolled in a state-cooperate company, where a lot a lot my fellows admire. i agree.
