It was the only time I’ve seen Noel and Liam stood together in the studio,’ Owen recalls. ‘Noel was still writing the words as Liam was singing it and they were both stood there really close to each other. Liam would sing and then Noel would say “Hang on”, and then change the words and say, “Okay, sing this”. It was beautiful and Liam’s vocal on that song is amazing. Liam is fantastic vocally, he’s got a real soul to him.’As ever, music had healed and brought the brothers together.
