A late boomer

You are what you are and you do what you do.

今天天气很热，院子里的百合默默开花了，先生依旧工作，辛苦了我的爱。他回到家后突然问我：明天休息，我们去哪儿？我看了下天气预报，会下雨。我懒洋洋的，没有任何安排，就说，在家休息，要下雨，帮我积攒雨水。

傍晚散步时我突然有个想法，我觉得先生娶了我是一种投资失败，哈哈。从毕业到现在，我一直没找到理想的职业。导致了现在三天打鱼两天晒网的状态，没有自己的事业，2018年就处于半退休状态。I am floundering up here. I thought I gave my whole-hearted effort to every job I took on, I could not have been more mistaken, it’s embarrassing to admit, but I am the kind of person who does things in a halfhearted way.

我对先生说：一直都是你在辛苦挣钱养家，我也很想多出点力。先生说：我不觉得辛苦。

我接着说：我尝试做翻译，你觉得怎么样？

我说：也许我是大器晚成吧！Maybe I am late-developing talent.

先生笑：嗯，大器，以后就叫你大器.

我叹了口气，又说：真是一手好牌被我打了个稀巴烂

先生又笑：你还会打牌？

You jest.

I know it was the greatest sarcastic quip.

就这样说说笑笑散步回到了家门口。

I am a dreamer, but I am also extremely pragmatic.

I already have a good life now. I am investing my time in my freedom, health, and happy marriage life. If there is more I want to achieve, that would be a successful career.

The time will come.

When we got back to the house, I did Yoga. Now I know my weakness, it’s time to make effort to reform myself.
