Program Introduction
GYDO, Global Youth Development Organization, is founded to build a platform for young people from all over the world to join into the international environment, including different organizations, communities, corporations and universities in different countries. To bring out young talents from all over the world and offer the platform for them to merge into the international environment is the main mission of GYDO.
Tokyo Anime Exchange Program in Japan (TAP) is one of GYDO’s important programs in Asia. It consists of animation courses and lectures offered by Tokyo's top Cultural Institute, visiting famous animation studios, as well as tour activities in Tokyo.
Participants will join the short-term exchange activities in Tokyo, which includes the professional animation courses offered by the long history Cultural Institute, famous animation design studio visit, Tokyo Anime Culture Street Tour, and so on.
In this period, participants will have face to face communication with the design team of the famous animation work—DORAEMON, the top animation scholars, designers, animation industry experts and top artists in order to understand the animation industry, the current situation, future trends.
Participants will also visit the famous attractions of Japan, such as Mount Fuji (Fujisan), Disneyland, Imperial Palace Double Bridge, Kaminarimon Asakusa Temple, Peace Park, Relic Tower, Tai Chung Valley, Lake Ashi and so on. Also, they will experience the famous hot spring hotel, enjoy the Japanese cuisine and shopping in Ginza and Akihabara Electric Street. At the end of the project, each member will have a Tokyo Anime Short-Term Training Certificate.
Target Participant
1. Animation enthusiasts who want to deeply understand the Japanese animation industry and take the professional animation courses.
2. Animation or art-related professionals, who want to visit the relevant professors and establish the contacts with them.
3. Other people who are interested in the program with their own unique insight.
Tokyo Cultural Institute Introduction
Tokyo Cultural Institute (http://bunka.gakuin.ac.jp/) was founded in 1921. It is one of the most famous professional integrated college which has a set of majors includes animation design, art, music, dance, theater, performance, Sheng You, literature, photography and projection, etc.
Professors and experts in this college include Japan's top designers, artists, association members, the famous literary and artistic staff, industrial experts of well-known companies, founders of famous studios, etc. The article works generated from this institute often win the praises in Japan and the world’s festival show.
The animation department of the Cultural Institute fosters training outstanding animation talents as its goal. It has a set of practical courses which include animation design, creativity, production, filming, editing, post-synthesis, and also some product design, animation industrial planning, economics and management courses as a whole. It aims to nurture outstanding professional practitioners and future leaders in animation industry. The best professors include: the co-production team members of the world-famous cartoon "Doraemon", founders of Japan's leading animation studio, members of Tokyo Animation Industry Association, excellent actual animation practitioners and other industrial experts.

Since there are only 40 headcounts of this exchange programs. We will review and uate the applicant's materials and send the formal offer by mid December.
