【1】“morning soup”：Songmeanings网上有人猜测，所谓“晨汤”是指因污染而笼罩于伦敦周围的烟雾（smog），继而有人指出是早晨上班高峰期的交通拥堵。
【2】“brewer's droop”：a slang expression for erectile dysfunction brought on by heavy drinking.
【3】“gut lord”：Urban Dictionary网上的解释是“a swaggering fat man”，和Parklife的MV里对应的场景倒也吻合。
【4】“Vorsprung durch Technik”：德语，1980年代起就成为德国汽车制造商奥迪的宣传口号，对应的英语为“Advancement through technology”。
Parklife是Blur 1994年专辑《Parklife》里的第4首。里面的念白是请英国演员Phil Daniels做的，或许是要所谓伦敦东区式幽默（cockney humour）效果吧。这首歌的MV也以Phil Daniels为主要角色，他扮演一个给人装玻璃的推销人员（名片上有醒目的宣传语：Amazing Glazing），Damon Albarn给他打下手。

Parklife was demoed in the summer of 1993 and was an instant fan favourite live. The narration was originally by Damon but he felt it sounded inauthentic and strained. Actor Phil Daniels had been contacted about providing the narration for 'The Debt Collector', but when Damon failed to finish the lyric for that, he got Phil to do 'Parklife' instead.
｛Parklife最早出现于1993年夏天，并立即成为乐迷喜欢的现场曲目。念白最初是Damon自己的，但他感觉听起来不太真实自然。联系演员Phil Daniels本来是请他为The Debt Collector做念白的，但当Damon没能为The Debt Collector写出念白的歌词，他就转而请Phil为Parklife做念白。｝
